Job Description

Are you good with computers, fanatic about details, and wanting to make a difference in your community?  Hoping to earn some extra money over the holidays?  Join a high-functioning, talented team and one of the most respected charities in the area.  The Food Bank is searching for a committed, accurate, part-time data entry clerk to key gift and donor information into a database, and to respond to donor inquiries by phone and mail. Experience with MS Word and Excel required and with complex database systems highly desired. To be successful, strong computer and excellent customer service skills are needed, as is a commitment to confidentiality.  Associate degree in secretarial science or equivalent amount of training and experience required.  Position is part-time and seasonal: 20 hours per week September and October, 28 hours per week November and December and 20 hours per week the first two weeks of January.  Hourly rate of pay: $10.00.
