Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce is participating again in the Valley Business Give Back Campaign in partnership with The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. HRCC will be collecting non-perishables items and monetary donations at our office form June 3-21, 2019.
The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank (BRAFB) is your local food bank. Through the acquisition and distribution of food, education regarding nutrition and other programs, and advocacy on behalf of the 1 in 12 people who are food insecure in our service area, the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank is working to end hunger in central and western Virginia. All food collected during the VBGB Food Drive benefits the men, women, and children served by 71 partner pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters in the central Shenandoah Valley area, which includes these counties and cities: Buena Vista, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Staunton, Waynesboro, Augusta, Bath, Highland, Rockbridge and Rockingham.
