Poverty Simulator

Open Doors, in partnership with the Virginia Cooperative Extension Office, is hosting a Community Action Poverty Simulation (CAPS) on Saturday, November 1st, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Navigation Center.
 

This interactive, immersive experience offers participants a powerful glimpse into the structural barriers and personal challenges faced by individuals living in poverty. Through role-play and real-life scenarios, CAPS fosters a deeper understanding of the social, physical, and emotional impacts of poverty.
