Eastern Mennonite University to Unveil New Athletics Bus Wrap During Public Celebration on October 20, 2025

Harrisonburg, VA – Eastern Mennonite University Athletics is excited to announce the unveiling of its brand-new athletics bus wrap — a powerful visual celebration of EMU’s school spirit, student-athlete excellence, and community pride.

The university invites students, alumni, and the public to join the celebration on Monday, October 20, at 4:00 p.m., for a special unveiling ceremony to be held on EMU’s main campus near North Parking Lot of the University Commons located at 1307 Park Rd.

This newly wrapped bus, featuring EMU’s iconic colors and dynamic imagery, will travel across the region as a mobile ambassador for the Royals — symbolizing the university’s deep commitment to athletic excellence, integrity, and leadership.

The event will feature remarks from EMU Athletic Director Carrie Bert, who will lead a short program before the official reveal. The design was developed in partnership with Varsity Travel, a regional leader in safe, modern, and community-centered transportation.

“This bus represents the unity, purpose, and passion of Eastern Mennonite University Athletics,” said Bert. “It’s a moving symbol of how we connect our students, fans, and mission — from Harrisonburg to every corner of the region.”

Media are encouraged to attend the unveiling. Interview and photo opportunities with university representatives, student-athletes, and community partners will be available immediately following the event.
